WHO WE ARE
The Wishes for Water Foundation is a nonprofit started in January 2023 by students in the President’s Leadership Council at Oklahoma State University. Our goal is simple: to bring clean, sustainable water to the Hurungwe School District in rural Zimbabwe. Access to safe water does more than meet a basic need. It helps girls stay in school, improves nutrition, and strengthens local economies. By focusing on long-term, sustainable solutions, we’re working to create lasting change for these communities. Through our partnership with the Tererai Trent International Foundation, we’re able to expand our impact and ensure each project is built to last. Every donation goes directly toward improving water access for children and families in rural Africa.
