WHAT IS THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF YOUR ORGANIZATION?

Our overarching mission centers on raising funds to facilitate the provision of clean and safe water to children and students accomplished through the establishment of boreholes.

HOW IS THE DONATED MONEY ALLOCATED WITHIN THE FOUNDATION?

When you generously donate, your contribution is directed towards the installation of boreholes in the rural villages of Zimbabwe, particularly during active campaign periods. Any surplus funds, as well as donations received outside of campaign periods, are utilized for administrative purposes to support the effective functioning of our initiatives.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A DONATION FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

Absolutely, we welcome donations from individuals residing outside the United States. To facilitate contributions, we offer various convenient methods, including Venmo, Stripe, and Apple Pay, as well as the option for cash and check mail-ins.

COULD YOU CLARIFY WHEN AND HOW I WILL RECEIVE MY DONATION RECEIPT?

Your donation receipt will be sent to you in a convenient manner via email. Alternatively, if you have made a donation through the mail, we will ensure that your receipt is promptly mailed to the address you have provided. Typically, you can expect to receive the receipt within a period of up to 4 months from the date of your donation. To provide further clarity, we have outlined the receipt timelines as follows:

• Donations made between January 1st and April 30th will receive a receipt by May 1st at the latest.

• Donations made between May 1st and August 31st will receive a receipt by September 1st at the latest.

• Donations made between September 1st and December 31st will receive a receipt by January 1st or shortly after.

Additionally, if you have donated and not received a receipt, please fill out our Contact Us form or email your concerns with your donation date, amount, and how you donated to kk.davis@wishesforwater.org. We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to promptly providing you with the necessary documentation for your contribution. Please keep in mind our organization is run by undergraduate students who graciously volunteer their time to Wishes for Water. We allow extra time for receipts distribution to accommodate our volunteers’ workload.
